I am always greatful for constructive feedback and thanks to all of you for your great comments! Here I have inserted some of the things other people have told me about the Spanish Word A Day:

'Just wanted to say what a fantastic idea I think your site is. Your site gives me the perfect excuse to learn a bit of Spanish when I check my emails when I get to work and the pictures just make me wish I was back in Spain.  I have even printed some and have them on the wall of my office as a peaceful image when things get hectic!!!

I have passed the site on to a couple of friends and would just like to thank you again for a wonderful start to the day!'

Emma, Aylesbury

Hi Chris

I think your site is an excellent contribution to developing learning and understanding for all and that you do this is an achievement for humanity.

I am very keen on seeing all the quirky sayings - and the match between the English and Spanish saying - Por ejemplo : Donde hay hambre, no hay pan duro => any port in a storm, and how far or how close the meaning of the saying is in the two languages and how different they are from the literal translation.

Many thanks for the effort you put in for making the site so interesting!

Best Regards,   Roger (UK)

Querido Chris,

¡Saludos desde Somerset, New Jersey-EE..UU!

Happy Easter break!  Come back soon!

Vivian

Dear Chris:  I recently discovered Spanish and your Word-A-Day site, and signed up a couple of weeks ago.  What a pleasure to have it greet me every day!  I always look forward to the daily photograph (you have an excellent eye), and get enjoyment from trying to translate the riddle or proverb at the bottom of the page.

great way to help me break into a half-hour of self-study each day.

muchas gracias a ti para tu sitio estupendo!                                Joe
